We bid farewell to Tom who has been with the Charity for over a year. Tom is a huge tennis fan and enthusiast...and plays tennis to a high standard. A respected and well liked member of the team, Tom has been crucial in helping with the Charity's volunteer recruitment and social media strategy. He availed himself to attend meetings as a representative of the Charity at various functions including being a part of the weekly in-house Tennis2Be meetings.
As a tennis coach, Tom also coached both adults and children very successfully at the Charity and we still get requests from regular players for his skills.
Tom played a leading role from the planning stages of the Tennis2Be Craic Cup and effortlessly got the competition off to a flying start whilst being solely responsible for the scheduling and umpiring of the high level, Wildcard and Doh-nut category players in the tournament. We're equally pleased that he has left an open door to dip in and out when needed by the Charity :).
Everyone at Tennis2Be wishes this genuine and true gentlemen every success in his future plans and new volunteering ventures.
